Founded in 1970, the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) is a national organization that represents Jesuit higher education among its various constituencies, provides a forum for the exchange of information and experiences in Jesuit higher education, and encourages and facilitates collaborative initiatives among its member institutions.
The Association sponsors over 30 conferences, or affinity groups, for faculty, staff and administrators at the nation’s Jesuit colleges and universities. The conferences provide a forum for members to exchange ideas, information and best practices; support their professional development; and present opportunities to discuss Jesuit higher education.
The AJCU Government Relations Network is the lobbying arm of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities, and advocates extensively for the nation’s Jesuit colleges and universities.
The member institutions of the Association are committed to developing programs and partnerships that advance international education and support initiatives that advance global citizenship.
