JesuitNET seeks to meet the diverse, growing needs of both traditional and non-traditional learners by integrating technology into the educational experience. Courses and programs developed through JesuitNET provide a flexible and convenient way to learn, and compliment classroom education on Jesuit campuses. JesuitNET has two operations: JesuitNET Design Services and JesuitNET Global Campus Services.
JesuitNET Design Services (JDS) is the branch of the Jesuit Distance Education Network that specializes in organizational development, faculty and staff development, and online course development. JDS provides consulting services to AJCU schools and organizations outside the AJCU network who wish to build an online presence and deliver Ignatian online education as part of their academic offerings. Since 2001, Design Services has worked with the leadership and faculty at AJCU schools to implement a framework for delivering Jesuit online education. JDS has trained over 700 AJCU faculty in developing face-to-face, blended, and online education in the Jesuit tradition. JDS distinguishes itself from competitor for-profit companies who provide similar services by its pedagogical model which integrates the characteristics and themes of Jesuit education and the elements of Ignatian pedagogy.
JesuitNET Global Campus Services (JGCS) partners with AJCU schools, global organizations, and corporate entities to support the delivery of high-quality, immersive Jesuit education to learners anywhere at any time. Through evaluation, analysis, consultation and support services, the JesuitNET Global Campus Services (JGCS) division strives to provide and help create an academically, technologically, administratively and economically sound model of distance learning that is scalable and sustainable for each University partner.
