Requirements for studying abroad:  (for other programs) 2.5 GPA, two letters of reference. 

Financial aid available:  None (only govt. sponsored aid). We are investigating sources of funding. 


INTERNATIONALIZATION OF THE CURRICULUM:
 
Related Majors/Minors/Concentrations:  Global Studies, Modern Languages, International Business
 
Languages available/ Language requirements:  French, Spanish, German, Greek (individual study) as well as Latin (individual study).  Two semesters for most students; one semester for those with good high school background and one  semester for those in Allied and health sciences. 

FACULTY EXCHANGE/COOPERATIVE RESEARCH

We belong to ACA which permits us to develop international programs and have faculty and students participate on these programs.  We also belong to a WV association FACDIS.  In the past, WJU faculty members have led programs for students and faculty to Mexico, Vietnam, Ireland, and the Dominican Republic.

OTHER PROGRAMS OR INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:

All of our trips are open to students, faculty and alumni. 

FACDIS (WV Association to which we belong) focuses on international studies, modern languages, political science.  They occasionally sponsor trip abroad from member institutions for both faculty and staff.
