Project Mercy Ethiopia has developed from a collaborative arrangement with Project Mercy, a 501(c)(3) engaged in community development with the people of Yetebon, Ethiopia. The Ethiopia immersion experiencecombines academic study with an international immersion to explore the concepts of social justice, ethics and human rights, diversity awareness and sensitivity, and population based health care for underserved groups. The program encourages students to increase their understanding and become critically conscious of the divide between the economically well-off and impoverished countries of the world whileaddressing health careneeds inthe global community.

  • For the past 19 years, there has been an alternative spring break trip to Rosita, Mexico. It has coincided with a semester-long course on Mexico. Gives Regis students, faculty and staff the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Mexican history, people, and culture as well as to experience the faith and generosity of the Mexican people. http://www.regis.edu/regis.asp?sctn=ars&p1=sl&p2=rc&p3=ps&p4=asb
