INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER/SERVICE/IMMERSION PROGRAMS
Le Moyne's Office of Campus Ministry provides an alternative break program which allows students to participate in service projects throughout theUS and abroad. Approximately 10-12 students participate in each service program. Each year, usually one or two international programs are run during the spring break and/or at the end of the academic year. The most recent international destinations have included Ghana, Bolivia and South Africa.

Highlighted Program:
Le Moyne College's consortium program in the Dominican Republic provides participants with an opportunity to study at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra while living with Dominican families within Santiago. Students also participate in numerous excursions to cultural sites and are involved in service learning projects.
Le Moyne College's program at Charles University in the Czech Republic allows students to study the Czech language while taking coursework in English. Students reside in apartments, living with other international students, while immersed in the center of Prague.

Requirements for studying abroad:
Students mast have at least sophomore standing, minimum of 2.8 cumulative GPA, less than 2 judicial points, and obtain approval from their major department.
Financial aid available:
Students can utilize all financial aid and scholarships while participating in Le Moyne or non-Le Moyne approved study abroad programs.
Other student services available (i.e.- insurance, housing, etc.):
All students participating in the study abroad program attend a two-part pre-departure orientation and receive academic advisement assistance. These students remain enrolled as Le Moyne students and continue to receive Le Moyne services while abroad.

Languages available/ Language requirements:
At least two semesters of foreign language study is required by most majors. Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Latin, and Spanish are offered. Le Moyne offers study of the following foreign languages: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Sign Language, Hebrew, Greek, Arabic, and Latin.

Le Moyne College was recently awarded a Title VI Grant to assist in globalizing the College's curriculum. In the past, other Title VI funding has been received to establish an Integrated Peace and Global Studies Program.
