Among the 800,000 undocumented individuals protected by the DACA program (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) are students at Jesuit institutions. Without protection, they will be forced to leave the United States after the program's expiration on March 5, 2018. The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) has been working closely with the American Council on Education (ACE), as a member of the Protect Dreamers Higher Education Coalition, to protect DACA students on our campuses. AJCU encourages all alumni, students, faculty, staff and administrators of the nation's 28 Jesuit colleges and universities to contact their members of Congress and ask for their support to protect DACA students.
