Volunteers will take part in the Food Drive Sort-A-Thon Project during the 2017 Alumni for Others LMU Day of Service project at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. This project involves sorting, labeling, and packaging food at the Food Bank to make sure that good food is going out to the community. Le Moyne College invites all Jesuit alumni to celebrate the College’s annual day of service, “Dolphins Dive in to Serve,” on Saturday, April 22nd, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The Le Moyne community will join together to serve those in need at various sites across Syracuse, NY. The day will conclude with lunch in the College's dining hall (located in the Campus Center). There is an additional service opportunity for Jesuit alumni in the Greater New York Metropolitan Area on Wednesday, April 19th at The Dwelling Place (409 West 40th St. New York, NY 10018). Join Le Moyne alumnus Bill Buckley '75 to help serve a special dinner to residents of The Dwelling Place, a privately-funded transitional residence serving women from the Greater New York City Metropolitan Area who are experiencing homelessness. A limited number of volunteer positions are available.

This spring, Washington, D.C.-area alumni of Jesuit colleges and universities are invited to participate in a community service project with the Campus Kitchens Project at Gonzaga College High School. Volunteers will prepare a meal for 63 local senior citizens and organize pantry closets inside of the Horace McKenna Center at Gonzaga. Volunteers will be able to choose which day they would like to come and help; please click here to sign up online.
