The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) works with a number of coalitions nation-wide to continue to build the best support for Federal student aid. Below are a few organizations closely affiliated with AJCU:

Student Aid Alliance

The Student Aid Alliance is a coalition of over 60 higher education associations and groups that lobby for and decide the higher education budget priorities for each year, in addition to lobbying on Federal student aid. Students can contact members of Congress and lobby for funding for student aid through the Alliance’s website:

Committee for Education Funding (CEF)

The Committee for Education Funding is a non-profit, non-partisan education coalition comprised of over 100 national education associations. CEF is the definitive coalition that lobbies exclusively on the budget and appropriations for all of education. More information can be found on the CEF website:

Foundation for Education Investment (FEI)

The Foundation for Education Investment (FEI) is a 501(c)(3) arm of the Committee for Education Funding. The purpose of FEI is to provide research and data on the success and viability of Federal education programs. For example: In December 2012, FEI and CEF issued joint polling data that overwhelmingly showed that a vast majority of Americans did not want to cut education education funding, which was at risk during sequestration.
