Statement on the Recent Tragedy at Virginia Tech

April 16, 2007 - The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) extends its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of those that perished during the horrific events at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) today. In light of these devastating circumstances, which leave us asking many questions, we are called to recommit ourselves to leading lives of peace and educating for justice. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Virginia Tech community as they begin to recover and heal from this terrible tragedy.
