ONLINE LEARNING INFORMATION
Regis University’s online RN to MS in Nursing program has been designed with flexibility and the working adult in mind. Our online Nursing programs do not require campus visits, and with the exception of the practicum requirement can be completed entirely online. While it is expected that students are logging into class on a regular basis, our curriculum has no pre-determined login times allowing you to ‘go to class’ when it’s most convenient for you. Regis University’s online delivery system is provided by Angel and is called Regis WorldClass.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A NURSING MAJOR
(158 semester hours for both BSN and MS in Nursing degree)
LOWER DIVISION NURSING CREDIT (33 semester hours)
RN students are granted 33 credits for their lower division nursing courses, which are earned through diploma programs or associate degree programs. These credits are awarded based on the Colorado Articulation agreement.
UPPER DIVISION NURSING CREDIT (60 semester hours)
Students are awarded their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree once they have completed the 65 semester hours of support courses and the first 30 semester hours of upper division nursing courses. Once these requirements have been met, and the BSN has been earned, students will progress into the core MS in Nursing curriculum. In this curriculum students choose either an education or management focus. Upon completing the 30 semester hours of graduate nursing curriculum, students that choose the education focus will earn both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Graduate Academic Certificate in Health Care Education. Management focus students are awarded a Master of Science in Nursing degree. Students may elect to complete the curriculum requirements for both focus areas.
