Mission Statement
Le Moyne is a diverse learning community that strives for academic excellence in the Catholic and Jesuit tradition through its comprehensive programs rooted in the liberal arts and sciences. Its emphasis is on education of the whole person and on the search for meaning and value as integral parts of the intellectual life. Le Moyne College seeks to prepare its members for leadership and service in their personal and professional lives to promote a more just society.
The OneLeMoyne Strategic Plan
Beginning with the inauguration of it’s 13th President, Dr. Fred Pestello, Le Moyne began a strategic planning process, the first phase of which was the year and a half long conversation that led to the OneLeMoyne Vision and six strategic priorities, the first of which is dedicated to the core importance of Le Moyne’s Catholic, Jesuit identity. The vision statement can be accessed at the link below.

The next phase of this process involves six teams undertaking the task of translating the strategic priorities into tactical plans that will be implemented and assessed over the course of the next several years. The Mission & Identity priority will be more fully articulated by February, 2011.
