Affiliations

Committee for Education Funding--The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities is an active member of the Committee for Education Funding which is a non-profit, non-partisan education coalition comprised of over 100 education national associations. CEF is the definitive coalition that lobbies exclusively on the budget and appropriations for all of education. AJCU Director of Federal Relations, Cynthia Littlefield, is a former President of CEF.

Student Aid Alliance--The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities is an active member of the Student Aid Alliance, which is a coalition of over 60 higher education associations and groups that lobby for and decide the higher education budget priorities for each year. Students can contact Members of Congress and lobby for funding for student aid through the Alliance website.

Student Aid Action-- A project of the State PIRG's Higher Education Project, Student Aid Actions tracks the federal budget and appropriations process.  Through the website, individuals can contact Members of Congress and send Letters to the Editor on student aid funding issues to newspapers across the country.  Students can submit personal stories about student aid and paying for higher education.
