Today at America’s 28 Jesuit colleges and universities, academic and administrative leadership is a shared venture, a partnership among Jesuits and their lay colleagues who have chosen to dedicate themselves to the growth and development of their institutions.
The challenges facing these men and women are in many ways the same as those that face leaders and managers at all colleges and universities: a complex mix of academics, financial and strategic issues. Jesuit institutions, however, offer an additional challenge: sustaining and developing the religious and social missions that make their form of education distinctive and enriching.
With the support of the presidents of the 28 colleges and universities, the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities offers a program designed to address the many issues facing current academic and administrative leaders and the developing leaders who will guide Jesuit institutions deep into the 21st century.

WHAT PAST PARTICIPANTS SHARE ABOUT THE SEMINAR:
The Seminar is a great opportunity for leaders in Jesuit higher education to deepen their understanding of the mission orientation of our wonderful institutions. It has helped me to better place myself within the Jesuit tradition of leading by serving others.

Earl F. Martin

The Seminar helped me articulate the vision behind the work we are doing at our institutions. It provided me with some crucial new management and leadership skills and introduced me to a network of valuable colleagues.
